I am a Speech-Language Therapist. For 20 years, I have worked in school districts and pediatric clinical settings. I have a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Prior to completing my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, I was an Elementary Education teacher who taught grades 3, 4, and 5 . Working with children is my joy and I continually challenge myself to implement innovative methods to help children become better communicators. One of my interests is developing curriculum, materials, and strategies to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have created and written a summer camp curriculum called Flexible, Capable Me. This camp will be available through Exercisabilities during the summer months. I live in Rochester, MN with my husband and three sons. My hobbies include being in the great outdoors hiking, riding bike, gardening, and camping along with vacationing with my family. I also enjoy volunteering at my church as a Sunday school large group teacher where I write skits that my boys and their friends perform for students.
