PHYSICAL THERAPY FOR OLDER ADULTS
As we age, challenges can arise that cause limited movement, uncontrollable pain, poor balance, increased risk of falling, and difficulty living/working/playing in the home or community. Physical therapy can help build skills and strength to overcome these challenges in order to remain safe, active, and independent.
Our team of physical therapists are neurologic therapy experts and will work with you one-on-one in our rehab-oriented gym to help you improve movement, decrease pain, and increase your independence. As your partner in health in and out of the gym, your therapist will also provide helpful and safe exercises to continue your therapy at home between your sessions.
ADAPTIVE FITNESS & LEISURE FOR SENIORS
As you improve through physical therapy, The EA Way will include working with our trainers, coaches, and recreation therapists on our therapeutic health team. These health and wellness experts, including certified personal trainers, neurofitness trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, health coaches and therapeutic recreation specialists, work side by side with your physical therapist to ensure you continue a safe and effective journey to continue to improve when physical therapy coverage by your health insurance wains or is not enough. As your therapy and fitness team grows, you will push beyond perceived limits and reach your goals safely and faster than you ever dreamed was possible.
This transition will help you continue to integrate the skills learned in therapy to help you remain active, increase strength and mobility, reduce pain, and achieve an optimal quality of life.
SENIOR HEALTH COACHING
We are committed to providing essential support to seniors in order to make their physical recovery journey successful and sustainable. Our team of health coaches will assist seniors in thinking holistically about rehab needs and health status for a continuum of care that involves the entire body.
Including health coaching along with physical therapy will help seniors increase energy, decrease pain, and see overall improvements in health and independence.
